PRACTICAL INFORMATION 

VENUE AND ACCOMMODATION

The Global Forum conference (2009) will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jerusalem.

In addition to the option of accommodation offered by the Crowne Plaza hotel, the Global Forum offers the conference participants special rates at four other hotels located in Jerusalem. All hotels are located within a 15 minute drive from the conference venue.

TRANSPORTATION

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at the heart of "Givat Ram" neighborhood within the city of Jerusalem.

"Givat Ram" also holds the National Precinct where most of Israel's government offices as well as other important establishments such as the Knesset, the Israel Museum, the National Library and the Israeli Supreme Court are all located.

For those traveling by public transportation, the Crowne Plaza Hotel is located within a 10-15 minute walk (5 minutes drive) from the Jerusalem Central Bus Station.

Transportation to and from the Crowne Plaza Hotel during the conference, will be done independently by the conference participants.

Transportation to and from the Conference Venue for the evening event that will take place at the KNESSET (16^th December 2009) will be provided to conference participants free of charge by the Global forum for Combating Antisemitism.

Transportation to and from BEN GURION airport

Ben Gurion International airport is located near the city of Lod, 47 Km (~30 miles) from the city of Jerusalem. 

All conference participants should arrange for transportation to and from the airport individually.

PARKING

Three parking facilities are available, at special rates, for conference participants:

* The Crowne Plaza Hotel Parking Lot

* The "BINIANEY HA-UMA" Parking Lot

* The "LEOM" Parking Lot
